at the Upper Chesapeake Bay's Premier Powerboat Event! We’re excited to present the 22nd Annual Thunder in the City, Powerboat Event. With both an awesome boat course and some of the best dock bar stops and dining on the upper Chesapeake Bay, this event is sure not to disappoint!

This year's event kicks off, welcoming everyone on Friday at 1 pm. Starting with the event check-in from 1 PM to 6 PM, followed by the Friday Annual Dock party, which kicks off immediately after with DECADE 80’s Band performing on the Deck! The Sponsors' VIP cocktail & dinner party is from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM on the Terrace. Saturday’s event full lineup starts with breakfast at the Chesapeake Inn, checkpoint stops, lunch (Red Eye's Dock Bar), and the afternoon dock bar party event (Tiki Lee's Dock Bar). Be sure not to miss the fine dining and party Saturday evening at the Chesapeake Inn Ballroom! Complete with 5-star dinner accommodations, butler Hors d’oeuvres, and fine dining, followed by the individual boater awards ceremony, poker card hands, and dance party with DJ Jimmy T!
